Danforth Avenue

After being locked up for two and a half months, I wanted an excuse to get out and shoot. I didn’t really need an excuse. Walking alone on the streets was never prohibited by the government. Then why did I not make the move? One Friday evening, I just made an impromptu decision of walking around with my camera.

I took it slow, I didn’t want to click great images. I had all the time in the world. Even if I didn’t click I was still going to enjoy the walk. Though it was the second week of May, it wasn’t warm. I was so excited to step out of the house that I didn’t dress up properly. I was wearing a pair of joggers and a hoodie. That wasn’t sufficient to keep me warm on a 4-degree evening. I didn’t have a destination in mind. I might have walked at least a ten kilometers that night.

This series is shot with a manual 85 mm lens on a Nikon D750.
